BATTLELORE GOING ON AN INDEFINITE BREAK
Battlelore played their – for the time being – last show abroad in Belgium, at Metal Female Voices Festival IX, on Friday October 21st 2011. After that the band is going on an indefinite break from touring and making music. This is not the end, however, just a time-out to focus on other aspects of life and build up more creative energy for the future. The plan is to play one more show in Finland before the break to thank the Finnish fans for their support over the years. The details of the last show are not confirmed yet but will be announced as soon as the information comes.
There’s no drama behind the decision to go on break, just a need to take a step back and have a breather. We want to thank all of our associates and supporters for the help and work over the past nearly 12 years, we’ve been lucky to have met and worked with such wonderful people! The biggest thanks definitely go to our amazing fans, without whom none of this would’ve been possible. We are honoured to have met you all and are humbled by your generosity and support! You all have a place in our hearts and we will always cherish the amazing moments we’ve shared with you on and off stage. THANK YOU!

For me, who was always searching for the ultimate epicness in this world, Battlelore is a defining point in my life. There are so few bands nowadays writing songs about the enchanted lands of Tolkien, or anything else arcane, that I’ll really miss Your Music, dear Battlelore crew. You’ve always been a great influence on me, and You’ll always be!

Sad news from one side of view but maybe good news from the other side.
I believe that the band has lost its magic that made them unique at first 3 albums. The next albums was darker (..no problem with that) and the strange feeling of the previous albums were lost. Even the doombound that I liked very much isn’t so good finally.
I believe that this “break” is a good choise and an opportunity for the band to create better music with their unique and TRULLY great atmosphere.
Don’t put an end on this band.JUST try to relax and compose music-fantasy.

Actually Hungary waited you and we could just have in the future a concert with one of Hungary’s first fantasy-battle metal (NoamutheN as you see) so I hope you break up!!!

Got to admit, it’s really sad. Would of loved to see you guys in south australia some time D=. Suppose hopefully one day in the future I may get that chance. So thank you for everything your band has done for the last 12 years, it’s been truly amazing, an I hope to see more of it soon ^.^ GOOD LUCK

Seeing you once is definitly not enough- but I trust your word that it won´t be the end. Your music has always been great, always changed, but never got worse, it would be bad if that changed because you overdid it. I suppurt your decision, take as much time as you need and come back victorius!

I really think you are one of the most talented bands of the genre out there.
I was really hoping 2012′s release of The Hobbit would inspire you for another round of great music…and that you would tour in the US.

This is so sad. I was totally shocked as I read this, because this is all coming so suddenly. You developed with each album and I take you by your word that you’ll go on with this in the future.

Batlelore…….. why all time the best bands give up.I hardly can live without battlelore. I realy hope the life build will be totaly Sucessfull, and i wish good luck to all member (especialy Kaisha). It make me proud to know the band.

So very, very sad at this news. I adore their music and listen to it constantly. I find their music inspiring and soothing when I’m upset or distraught. Two thumbs up for the day they come back together!

Every coin has got two sides too it and even though i think it’s sad I understand the reason for it. I do think it’s a real pity that your music isn’t available on Spotify any longer though.. :(

Well, i think they deserve a break. You guys were whipping out albums and tours for a long time now. I also think it is good that you all are going nby your truth, living life the way it best suits you. When musicians get together that is not always the case. Most of them overwork, try to please their fasn with the cost of their own well being, and self worth. I wish the best to you guys,

Love your music and hate to see you take a break, but I respect that decision and will await your return! Thank you for the great music! I love music that takes me places and your lyrics and soundscapes do that every time I listen! Hope to see you in concert someday in the U.S.!!! Until then I will enjoy the DVD’s!!! A farewell DVD of the last concert in Finland would be AWESOME!!! Enjoy your break, you all deserve it!
